ACCESS SERVICES Access Services provides myriad crisis, emergency, foster, homeless, warm-line, justice-related, and outreach support for individuals with mental/behavioral health, intellectual disabilities, youth and aging populations in Eastern Pennsylvania.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICE Montgomery County Emergency Service (MCES) is a non-profit, free-standing psychiatric hospital on the grounds of Norristown State Hospital. MCES provides round-the-clock inpatient treatment, the nation's only psychiatric ambulance that responds to psychiatric emergencies, an 8-bed crisis residential program (Carol's Place). MCES is also a network member of the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, and provides criminal justice personnel with Crisis Intervention Specialist training, the oldest mental health training school for law enforcement officers in the nation.
NAMI PENNSYLVANIA NAMI is a peer-led, grass roots organization devoted to assisting individuals living with mental health challenges, their families, and caregivers. NAMI Family-to-Family groups are a way to gain information, support, and resources.
SURVIVORS OF SUICIDE - PHILADELPHIA (SOS) Survivors of Suicide (SOS) is a resource for anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide. The organization supports individuals and families affected by suicide loss as well and provides communities with information and education relating to suicide. Anyone who has experienced a suicide loss may contact SOS at 215-545-2242.
